So I adjusted. I ordered online and hoped. I paid for bras that almost fit and wore them anyway. I learned to ignore the strap digging into my shoulder by noon, the band riding up my back by evening, the underwire that sat wrong from the very first wear. I told myself it was fine. I told myself this was just how it was for women with fuller busts and smaller bands.

I was wrong. And I was tired of pretending otherwise.
